Matteo Ranieri is a fifth-semester Health Sciences student at TUM, where he is developing a multidimensional understanding of health by considering biomedical, psychological, social and epidemiological perspectives, but also health systems and management approaches.At the Center for Global Health, he works as a research assistant, supporting Prof. Prazeres da Costa and her team. He performs administrative tasks, conducts literature research, and prepares presentations. His research interest and the topic of his bachelor thesis is climate change induced changes in the spread of infectious diseases, with a special focus on vector-borne diseases. In his free time, he enjoys being physically active and spending time with friends and family.
