Master degree programs

Study program Biology:

Module Immunology 2:

The module Immunology 2 consists of the lecture "Advanced Immunology" (2 SWS) and a practical course (split into two parts).

10 ECTS points are only assigned for the entire module. Attendance of only one part will not be rewarded with ECTS points. Successful participation in the module Immunology I (or a comparable module) is required. Registration will be opened on TUMonline 1-2 months in advance.

The lecture series is held in English at the Institute of Medical Microbiology, Trogerstrasse 30, 81675 Munich. Successful participation in the lecture series will be documented in a written multiple choice exam (in English).

The practical course consist of two separate parts: The first week is held as a full time practical course at the Institute of Medical Microbiology, Trogerstrasse 30, 81675 Munich. The second Part will be held at WZW (Prof Zehn, Chair of Animal Physiology and Immunology, Weihenstephaner Berg, 85354 Freising). Separate registrations for these two parts are required. Successful participation in the practical course (both parts) will be evaluated in an oral exam. Participants will present one of the experiments during either of the practical course parts and discuss their results. Experiments to be presented will be chosen by lot.

The module takes place exclusively in the winter semester. Binding participation requirement is the successful completion of the module "Immunology I". Lecture and practical course take place at the Institute of Medical Microbiology, Trogerstrasse 30, 81675 Munich. Registration is possible 1-2 months before the start of the course on TUMonline.
